Materialized Vase
We thought about scrapped ideas and crumpled paper when we first saw the Materialized Vase ($150) by Erich Ginder. Turns out, it's a computer generated image of antique objects. Laser scanners give us the rough edges of an artifact and give us an abstracted view that's totally new. Well, that's a new angle.
