Camilla D'Errico's Fur Carnival
Thinkspace Gallery featured artist, Camilla D'Errico softens the anime aesthetic with cuddly animal companions and aloof, innocent ingenues. In her hand signed and numbered giclee print, "Fur Carnival", ($75) we're not sure if snowy white Narnia-esque friendlies are protecting or possessing the protagonist, but her trusty fox is surely on her side. The composition is nicely balanced by the warm colors of the fox in the foreground and cool blue background, and the uncertain tone is endlessly intriguing.
