Amber Glass Window Film

Since Frank Lloyd Wright doesn't make decor house calls from the grave, the stick on Amber Glass Window Film ($23) will have to fill his place. There's nobody soldering this artsy piece together (Lets face it. Labor's expensive.); it works like a sticker and can peel off at a whim, so the expensive stained glass look just became a lot less of a commitment. The conveniences are never ending with extra privacy and UV protection built right into the warm colored tinting.

I've had the amber Glass on a window for some time (8 years). When I took it off to replace it, there was such a smell I quickly threw it in the trash. It smelled the room. I transferred it to the can in the garage. It smelled up the garage. Is this toxic? Do I need to call toxic waste? -Jeannine

Hi Jeannine, that question is better brought up with the film's manufacturer, Artscape. http://www.artscape-inc.com/
