Oxford Infrared Electric Fireplace
Most of the time we love living in our little beach town apartment in CA, but a few months of the year we wish we had a real house with a fire place to sit next to on cold winter nights (it gets cold here with no heater, you know!). Since we can't just put in a fireplace we're considering a cool 'portable' Oxford Infrared Electric Fireplace ($700). With the capacity to heat a 1000 sq. ft. area, we might actually have a place to hang our stockings and warm our frozen toes this Christmas.
