Get a back belt in chopping without having to get anywhere near a wooden board with your bare hands. The Ninja Blender ($96) has two sets of rotating blades so it can chop, dice and blend faster than your average blender. Perhaps the most appealing quality to those of us who don't spend much time in the kitchen - the lid has a censor and the blender won't activate unless the lid is fully closed.
