Bricchetto Cuckoo Clock

We adore anything and everything made out of Murano glass, and the Bricchetto Cuckoo Clock ($404) by Raffaele Darra is no exception. Darra's expertise in fusing mosaic glass pieces with other materials has served him well. This beautifully crafted white ceramic clock has tree bark that feels shockingly inorganic (not that we're complaining -- the sheen of the smooth textured "trunk" is nicely stylized), and the bright red peekaboo cuckoo is equally surprising. Overall, a devilish combination of pastiche.
