Howdy fellow Outblush readers! I'm Carolyn from Nail Polish blog Notes and Nails and I always find myself looking for the perfect holiday manicure to wow my friends and family! Today I have a super-easy and super-festive holiday manicure tutorial for you, using the Splatter technique. I chose to use Christmas colors, but of course feel free to switch out with your favorite shades.
Step 1: Paint your nails with a few coats of white polish
Step 2: On a plate or any surface you don't mind ruining, put a generous amount of polish in a blob. The example photos show the set up for this. In my case, I started with a gold glitter. Using a straw, dip into the blob of polish, hold over the first nail, and blow! This can get messy so make sure to have some paper towels and nail polish remover around.
Step 3: Repeat the same technique with your second color. I used a green glitter.
Step 4: Add on your last color and finish with a top coat and you're done!
This mani is surprisingly easy but looks awesome! If you want to see more nail tutorials and ideas, check out my blog here or follow me on twitter @NotesandNails.
