Hey kids, ever wanted to know more about the fine art of photography (and how to get some major dirt on your dastardly nemesis/lying ex/Satan-turned-boss)? Well, you're in luck, cuz our go to gal for photography, Meggan Haller of Keyhole Photo, returns to give us advice on just that topic! Meggan and her husband Jeff provide documentary-style photography to a variety of industries and kick ass when it comes to being all-around superduper peeps. Want more? They just launched a completely redone website chock-a-block full of radical features. Check out their blog, look for a daily dose of awesome.
The basic idea behind this super-secret spy lens ($50-85) is that it's really hard to get awesome photographs of real moments. As a photojournalist, I fundamentally disagree (hello! examples all over our BRAND NEW website...), but I love this lens anyway.
Here's what it should be used for:
spying on a cheating spouse
spying on a drug deal going down
spying on an FBI double agent
I realize you might not be comfortable with some of the above scenarios, but they're just suggestions. You could always use it to spy on the guy who doesn't pick up behind his dog every time the dog sh*ts right next to your car.
Or I guess you could use it to photograph candid moments - if you need the extra help.
