I will admit that I'm a little biased in this recommendation, as my girlfriend just got this for me on my birthday. I have always had trouble with forgetting my wallet in odd places, and once it started to look like George Costanza's wallet, I knew it was time for a new approach. My girlfriend looked online for a long time, and found an economical yet classy money clip. The Duckbill money clip ($36) has a unique quad-fold, spring-loaded steel design that lets it hold a large capacity of cards and bills (think the height of 60 folded bills!) without getting bent out of shape. I have enjoyed mine so far and think your guy will too.
