Special Guest Post by Beauty Junkies Unite: 5 Hand Creams You've Probably Never Tried, but Definitely Should

Everyone say a big Outblush-style welcome to our newest guest poster, Amber M. from Beauty Junkies Unite! Like us, she's always on the hunt for the next Holy Grail product, and has a cosmetology background to back up her reviews. Take it away, Amber!

If you're looking down at your hands right now and think they feel a little tight and look dry, it means your hand cream isn't working the way you want it to. This time of the year, it's crucial to give your skin a little extra help in the moisture department, since winter is doing a fine job of sucking it dry. If your current hand moisturizer isn't working (or you're not using anything at all), you'll want to check these out!

Argan Magic Emulsifying Hand Cream ($17) - Argan oil is one Moroccan beauty secret we're glad that was let out of the bag, because it seems too good to be true! Luckily for us, it's not. This super light, quick absorbing, and great smelling hand cream keeps my hands feeling silky 24/7, and my cuticles healthy.

Elizabeth Grant Hand & Foot Cream ($20) - Don't be put off by the medicinal fragrance of this one, it's from the camphor that does a fantastic job of softening even the toughest of callouses. Try slathering it on at bedtime for baby-soft hands and feet.

Caudalie Hand & Nail Cream ($19) - You'll likely find this one to be purse-worthy so you can keep it handy for re-application during the day. Arguably one of the most lightweight, but most-effective hand creams I've ever used--it's hard to believe there's avocado oil, shea butter, and grape seed oil in such a quick-absorbing lotion. It won't slime everything you touch after application!

Liz Earle Hand Repair ($29) - If a harsh, cold climate and the elements are making your hands look older than you are--it's time to invest in this! Skin conditioning beta-carotene, pro vitamin B-5, and vitamin E meet soothing echinacea to heal and turn back the hands of time. Even better, keep this by the kitchen sink to give some extra love to your hands after you've had them in hot water.

Votre Vu Duette Luxe Hand Creme & Lip Balm ($39) - This favorite pulls double-duty with an incredibly delicious smelling almond and coconut hand cream, and a coconut oil and shea butter lip balm hidden in the cap! While it's borderline addictive--nourishing your hands with natural sun filters, protective jojoba, and healing aloe will turn into a guiltless pleasure you won't forget to do.
