If you like to collect memorabilia related to the Royal Family, the Royal Engagement Coin (£10 - £1,550) might be right up your alley. Buyer beware, though: although this is the official coin released by the Royal Mint, it might not entirely meet your expectations. Is it just us (it's not), or does that not even remotely resemble poor Kate Middleton? She looks more like Jocelyn Wildenstein than a fresh-faced young woman about to get married. We were actually on the fence about whether this was a Doubtblush-worthy gift item. Who's designing these coins over there at the Royal Mint? Still, if this is your collection of choice, the coin IS technically a collectible item!
