Here's something you may or may not know about little boys: They love to act tough, but a lot of them are afraid of the dark. You don't want to make him feel bad (after all, it's normal for a kid to be afraid of the dark), so you find ways to give him a little nightlight without actually calling it a nightlight. We ran across this Remote Control Moon ($30) that will hang on his wall to give him a little light when he needs it.
You are not going to believe how many Night Light ideas we found for kids.

Outblush,
I read your blog pretty religiously and I like the items you find accompanied with your commentary but I would like to voice a complaint regarding this post. As I was scrolling down the page, I read the post for the Sigg Water Bottle and Katie, the young girl who was teased for liking Star Wars. Next, I see a picture of this pretty awesome remote controlled moon but when I read your commentary you aim your comments at little boys! Even though you're not teasing girls, you're also not encouraging their interest in space. I realize there probably aren't many children who read this blog but come on! Let's not assume anything science/space/tech-related would only be interesting to boys!
Sincerely,
A grown girl who likes space!
