We, the whitest girls on the Outblush editorial staff (and in the world), would like to complain. Why is tan sexy, and glaringly white creamy, pale skin not sexy? Why are you trying to make tanning beds cool again? Haven't you heard about skin cancer, let alone seen how leathery your skin is getting - especially you, Mr. Armani? Haven't you? We guess not. Well, we'll just wear our Melanoma Girl SPF - Sexy Pale Female t-shirt ($20) in silent protest, then, even if the white tee blends into our skin so well that strangers think we're nude.. Hrmph.

As a naturally-tanned girl with archipelago origins, I find it fascinating when pale people address tanning controversies. Where I come from it is fashionable to be as pale as possible - there are even beauty products made to brighten and whiten the skin.
