Shopping Spree - Janetor's $1000 First Date Outfit at

SHOPPING SPREE: 2 Editors. One store. $1000. GO!
Welcome to our newest feature, Shopping Spree, where we get to play our own version of Fantasy Football: Fantasy Shopping! Two of our crackerjack editresses are given "$1000" each to "spend" at an online store, and the assignment of shopping for a specific occasion. In today's matchup, it's Robin vs. Janetor in a cage (heel) fight to the death (by chocolate)! The mission: Spend $1000 on a first-date outfit of your choice at Ready... set.... SHOP!

Who could resist the allure of a $1000 shopping spree at (Um, hai, yespls!). A perfect first date? Bowling and a casual dinner. It's low key, fun, and the opportunity to share a kiss if one of you gets a strike.

A great-fitting pair of jeans shows off your curves and keeps you comfy. These GoldSign Frontier Skinny Jeans ($187) have a darker wash to make your legs look long, a little bit of elastane for stretch, and a cute ankle-cropped length to show off shoes.

Dress up the look a bit with this silk crepe Madison Marcus Charm Top. ($198) The layered eyelash fringe on the oversized cowl neck is a fun detail that's not too over-the-top, and the flirty, fluttery sleeves and just-low-enough neckline draw attention to your collarbone and gorgeous face. Plus, the soft teal color? So in for fall.

These Luxury Rebel Carol Suede Open Toe Booties ($230) in a soft hickory gray have a 1" platform and 4" heel, so you're really only in 3" heels. They'll slip off easily when you're changing into bowling shoes, too - just remember to pack socks!

A just-blingy-enough Antik Batik Wallice Bag ($215) has enough room to hold everything you need, but won't mark you as one of those girls who has to carry her whole life with her everywhere. The detachable shoulder strap leaves hands free for... well, holding!

First dates, IOO, call for fairly low-key accessories. This Willow Necklace by Gorjana ($84) nestles in your cleavage and delicately accents the Madison Marcus Top. Top it all off with the Rachel Leigh's Gumball Ring ($68) in Raspberry to add a fun pop of color and vintage appeal.

Total Tally: $982
