Some studies say toning shoes don't actually do anything for your figure, but we beg to differ: We got to try out a pair of Puma BodyTrain Mesh Training Shoes ($90) firsthand, and definitely noticed a difference. Using a higher heel angle and a special sole material called IdCell, it activates more muscles with every step, jump, or lunge and makes you work out harder. Even just wearing it to do everyday errands, we felt the toning action (cheesy, yes, but true) in our legs and core. Best part? They look more like regular shoes, so there's no, "Oh, hai, I am wearing toning shuz!" So let's recap: Cute shoes that help you build more lean muscle and burn a few more calories. What's not to like?
