Personal Shopper: Cowboy boots for Janessa

Janessa T. wrote, "Hi Outblush! I have been a loyal (ok, mildly obsessed) reader since my mom turned me on to your site a few years ago. I've seen a lot of cool stuff on Personal Shopper lately, and it struck me that maybe you could help me out. I've been trying to find the perfect pair of cowgirl (or cowboy) boots for years now, online and at local vintage shops and bazaars, to no avail. I live in eastern Washington, which is a place that's sorta backwoods while also being modern. I tend to rock a lot of different styles, but I won't wear something if it's not comfortable. Over the weekend I found an awesome rhinestone cowgirl belt at the Idaho fair (somewhat horrible picture here) and now I want to find some cute boots to go with. We're entering cooler weather and I don't want to run around in my normal tennis shoes all fall/winter. I really don't want to pay more than $100 because they're mostly for fashion rather than usefulness, and I need a low heel. I wear a 9M. Can you help me find a cute pair that I can wear with my new belt? I like these but I'd prefer something with a higher shaft, for tucking jeans or leggings into. I will take all color suggestions. Giddy up! Thank you Janessa"

i'm a huge fan of ariat boots ... but they're a motorcycle-cowboy boot hybrid. they're kind of weird, but i love them. not to mention, i have a black patent leather version, which amuse me to know end.

oh, here they are: http://www.ariat.com/products_detail.aspx?pcid=9&cid=2&scid=19&pid=990

i also have a white distressed leather pair, so no problem messing them up more.
