Even though these Nike Free TR Fit Winter Trainers ($52) are marketed as winter shoes (the satin-textile upper keeps feet warm!), we're discovering that we love wearing them even on warm days. The fabric is breathable but sewn to the sole in one piece, so muddy trails don't hold us back as we run. Our socks and feet stay clean and dry. Plus, they wash well. We just toss 'em in the washer on their own cycle to remove all the dirt and grime.
