Groove is in the heart! Those are the song lyrics that come into our mind when we see the Jeffrey Campbell Groovie Nude Rainbow Platforms ($155). These outrageous shoes are definitely a statement accessory. And either you love 'em or hate 'em. We think they could look pretty cool if paired with an understated outfit.

Isn't this what Doubtblush is for? I feel like I'm saying that too often lately...

These are a total design rip-off of Ferragamo's classic Rainbow Platform (from 1938!), and I'm sure the designers at Jeffrey Campbell knew that. I don't like them for that reason alone. Did some googling, and I'm not the only one to make this association.

All designers rip each other off. Its the world of fashion...
I think these are very interested. I could see some chic woman in Milan pulling these off with cropped rolled-up slacks and a flowy creme top...with long wavy tousled hair.

i guess it just goes to show we all have different taste, and the outblush editors may feel some things are rockin' while others are appalled--and vice versa! i've actually looked at a couple doubtblush things lately and thought, hmm, that's not so bad; while i wouldn't be caught dead in stuff like this!

OMG. No no no. It looks like something Jackie on that 70s show would wear.

But Caitlin, as your link shows, Campbell NAMED his shoes after Salvatore Ferragamo! They're an homage.
I love them - at least the version in Caitlin's link, which makes the top part look silver rather than bone.
Caitlin
I read that, but this isn't an homage, it's a straight design rip off.

i love them! if only t.rex were still around, i'd have the perfect concert to go to in them.
