Here's the deal: We're gonna wear this Silver Dandelion Necklace ($80) and if anyone comments on it, we're going to tell them it's an asterisk. And then when they ask us what the asterisk is for, we can make up something totally ridiculous like:
It's a note on how my outfit is great considering I picked it in the dark.
It's holding the place of the curse word I want to utter when I walk into work.
Sigh... or maybe we'll just take the complement and move on. Not everything is a grammar or punctuation related joke.
