Channel the grace, romance, and certainly the fashion of the Roaring Twenties with the Gatsby Necklace ($39, on sale) by Madewell. As easily paired with deeply feminine dresses as it is with boxy military blazers, this is one beautifully versatile necklace.
A direct reference to F. Scott Fitzgerald's famous 1925 novel, The Great Gatsby, this necklace was probably inspired by Daisy Buchanan, the beautiful, wealthy (and somewhat shallow) object of Jay Gatsby's affections. Daisy is speculated to have been inspired by Fitzgerald's wife, Zelda, a popular dancer and icon of the 1920's. Fitzgerald himself dubbed her "the first American Flapper."
