While we do love luxurious winter coats, it's important to have a simple jacket we can run our errands in and stay warm and dry. The North Face Apex Bionic Hoodie Jacket ($149) is our favorite. It's lightweight and water resistant, but fleece lined to keep us warm. The hood protects our hair but doesn't fall so low on our eyes that we can't see where we're going. Plus, it's just fitted enough that we still maintain some of our ladylike curves. It's available in black and white, so you're sure to look classically sophisticated as you trudge through the rain.
