Fall 2010 Trends on a Budget: Coats

We all drool over the super-expensive clothes, shoes, and accessories featured every month in fashion magazines, but how many of us can actually afford that $800 jacket, or those $300 jeans? You don't have to wrap yourself up like the Michelin Man in layers and layers of puffy down to stay warm this winter! There are a ton of great, inexpensive, vintage- and military-inspired designs out there this year that will keep you cozy, paired with a sweater, scarf, and gloves. Tip: When you're trying on coats, dress in your thickest sweater or sweatshirt. That way, you'll know the coat fits even over your bulkiest outfit!
