J Crew Indie Dress
There's something about this J Crew Indie Dress ($158) that conjures up images of running around on Prince Edward Island a la Anne of Avonlea. Maybe it's just our inner bookworms showing through, but you've got to admit that this cotton and lace frock was made from some "by the sea" action. Even if you're just going to wear it with a straw hat to a seaside flea market. (As opposed to being taunted in it by the ever charming Gilbert Blythe.)

Gilbert!!!! Oh, man, that takes me back. I had such a huge crush on him as a kid, especially after watching the movies. (PS, though, the third movie? "Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story"? An abomination unto L.M. Montgomery's sacred canon.)
