Wow. This dress from Atelier-Pierrot is literally flirting with a couple of eras at once - the lapels, navy stripe print, and neat white buttons could have come straight from tailored fifties/sixties officewear, while the shirred skirt and the corset-style lacing up the back have an element of Moulin Rouge ooh-la-la. It's not shy, but how great would this be for holiday parties with the right updo and the right handbag? ($286 or so with the current exchange rate.)
P.S. - Try to ignore the last photo on the website. It really is not improved by being worn over a frilly short-sleeved blouse.
