Doubtblush: American Gold Sacred Heart Cut Out Maxi
You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.
Full disclosure: we were initially kind of into this American Gold Sacred Heart Cut Out Maxi ($242) because it's so The Virgin Morticia Addams, plus the model's pose makes us think of the end of Carrie even though it doesn't look anything like her prom dress (but wouldn't it look great drenched in pig's blood? No?)
Anyway, our morbid obsession with this dress was stunted when we realized it has cut out sides. Ugh. Now it's just your mom's wedding dress that could have been awesome but the moths got to it first.
