We took a class on running (yes, we needed a class) from a local CrossFit gym. We not only learned that we were making this seemingly easy task as difficult as possible, but that we were wearing shoes meant for walking in, not running in. There is, apparently, a difference. The coaches there recommended we take a look at Nike Exclusive Free Running Spotted Sneakers ($133), and they were so right to do so. These are super lightweight, breathable, and available in coral and turquoise (the most important piece of information, of course). Running in them is almost like running barefoot, but without the pain and trauma of stomping on jagged rocks. And since they make physical activity cuter and more comfortable, we're inclined to bump up the frequency of our evening jogs.
