Par Avion Wallet

Visiting home, we once found a hoard of those old air mail envelopes with the blue and red stripes on the edges. There's something perfect about that design - we think it's romance mixed with a kind of benevolent bureaucracy. It makes us a bit sad that we've never gotten a letter in one, but having this Par Avion Ever-Together Tyvek Wallet ($15) to carry in the purse pocket next to the keys and cell phone might make up for that somewhat. As we open it, maybe we can imagine it contains a little sand from a French beach or a Brazilian coin instead of moths and those receipts we should have thrown out by now.
