In the past, I've always gone for watches that are trendy and cute, with lots of bright colors and patterns. But now that I'm beginning to advance in my career and I want to be taken more seriously, I'm looking at watches that make more of a statement of maturity and femininity, while still maintaining a youthful sensibility. I like watches that are elegant and classic, without looking dated, and are definitively feminine without looking girly.

I feel like this whole journey is like the move from carrying a Vera Bradley purse to a designer leather bag -- something that more subtly and quietly speaks to my style. Now I just have to get my hands on a watch that fills that high order!

I love watches! I esp love simple and classic designs. My fav watches (design wise) are from the 40s and 50s. They are so subtle,sexy,feminine and versatile! Metal, small dials and metal/oxidize/antique looks are my fav! No leather for me...I like it animal friendly :)
