In our wide and varied travels across the information superhighway, in addition to the fierce and fabulous, we encounter the insane, the arcane, and the absolutely friggin' ridiculous. Sometimes the paraphernalia, tchotchkes, and fashion disasters we come across are so atrocious we have to vent our disbelief and horror, but know, dear readers, we share only the crème de la crap with you. Hence, Doubtblush.
Here you go readers! We give you.... hands down... the most offensive instance of cultural appropriation we've seen yet. Spirit Hoods ($129 each)! The polar bear version is supposed to represent "Guardian-Caretaker-Strength", while the leopard version represents "Intelligent-Free Spirited-Leader". We're not even going to get started on why the leopard girl has to be wearing red panties and sucking on a lollipop.

I just saw a very nice cheap version at my local Halloween store. Actually, I've seen them at every Halloween store that I've frequented in the last month. For $30.

I'm pretty sure Ke$ha has one of these. Ridiculous!
Brandi
I saw similar ones at target less than $30 on sale this week

I have one of these hats! Sans paws. It provides me with warmth and cuddliness. It is the new fashion must have!
p.s. I'm 12

Yes! I'm First Nation, and it's nice to see that Outblush recognizes that this "tribal native crap" trend has gone too far! How can spirit animals be a fashion trend? Gack!

Thank you, Penni, for actually reading and understanding the point of this post! My head was starting to explode from all the comments suggesting cheaper alternatives.
