Doubtblush: Pencil Me In Flat
They say great taste is timeless - but then again, so is bad taste. Despite the time we spend looking for stuff to make you salivate with desire, occasionally we stumble upon things that elicit a very different oral reaction. Sometimes we shudder and move on, and then there are times that the object in question is just too awful to keep to ourselves, so we bring it to you as a Doubtblush.
For most of us, our school days are over and we have no inclination toward reliving them or wearing these Pencil Me In Flats ($98) by Jeffrey Campbell. We're usually pretty gung-ho around here about all types of flats--and there are so many gorgeous ones out there that we can't think of a reason to drop nearly a hundo on these...odes to the pencil. Would you wear them? What with?...

I LOVE these! So quirky and cute. I'd probably wear them with dark jeans and a plain white t-shirt! Maybe a red cardigan over top. You're right though...$98 is a lot of coin for a pair of flats!

I would totally wear these. White top, dark jeans, cardigan- nothing complicated. I'm in grad school, and I work at a university, so they'd work for me.

I would totally wear them, too. I would actually pair them with most anything, even brighter colors; but sometimes my look is a bit more eccentric than others. I think worn right they could make a nice statement and excellent conversation starter. A bit of an investment though for something that might scare some.

I am a teacher, so I bought them to wear to class and teach. More specifically, I am an English teacher...I would wear them with a pencil skirt and white button up, or on a casual day, with jeans and a sweater. SO CUTE!

I love them! I'm a teacher and I'd absolutely wear them to teach. They'd be perfect with dark skinny jeans, a white shirt... or in the spring, white pants and a yellow shirt!
