They say great taste is timeless - but then again, so is bad taste. Despite the time we spend looking for stuff to make you salivate with desire, occasionally we stumble upon things that elicit a very different oral reaction. Sometimes we shudder and move on, and then there are times that the object in question is just too awful to keep to ourselves. Get out the mouthwash and breath mints - this Doubtblush is enough to make you throw up in your mouth.
We wouldn't normally Doubtblush an entire collection of anything but 4 of the 12 new shades of the OPI Touring America Collection make us nauseous. We're renaming the two dark green shades "Oh Honey, It's Baby's First Solid Food Poop" and "The Deer Must Have Gotten In the Yard Again". The two in the bottom right corner are getting redubbed "Been There, Done That" and "Stuck In the Middle Without You".

I actually have a bottle of deep brown nail polish at home that looks great on short fingernails. I wouldn't put any of those browns on my toes, but on fingernails, I think they'd look great.

I'm from Philadelphia and I was offended that they say their Philadelphia color is "I Eat Mainely Lobster." I had to check their website a few times to make sure it wasn't a mistake. You're doing a color about the fantastic Philadelphia and you have to go to another state for inspiration? For shame. I'm switching to Essie.

No, no and no. I usually do buy my own polish even though I get manicures. And OPI is my go to brand. I think I will just use my colors from last year. I still crave Chanel Paradoxyl. And I did buy the new Chanel in Graphite and it is gorgeous!

Did anyone notice that one of the meconium-looking colors is called "Uh Oh, Roll Down the Window"? It's fart colored polish, and they know it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought these were icky poo-poo.
