Sometimes we're just poking along here at work (or down the street, or through our mail) and we see something that is so delightful and desirable and new and clever that we smack a big old mental sticky note on it to remind us to share it with you. And sometimes the exact opposite of that happens. Welcome to Doubtblush.

We know that our offerings of Melissa shoes are hit or miss with you, OB readers, but this one is definitely a MISS. We've affectionately nicknamed the Melissa Gaetano Pesce Flat ($120) the worts-be-gone shoe. Yes, these come in other color options besides the sickly flesh-tone, but none help. Until catching the plague becomes fashionable, these will remain on our don't list.

Awesome design. What a creativity. Looking so stylish. But expensive. Can we get discount on this? I think its very comfortable to feet. Thanks to Doubtblush to introduce such great design.

Agree with Sears! Gaetano Pesce is one of the great designers of all times. Yes, the style is acquired and may not be for mainstream customers (which is what this blog gears towards), but definitely a design statement! Also, what the article failed to mention is that you can customize the shoe to your own creativity - you are supposed to cut some of the bubbles out and make it your own, which makes them unique.

There are no words to describe what I'm looking at. I think this may be the ugliest/stupidest product I have ever seen in my entire life. And I'm not just saying that because I have a "Case of the Mondays."
