You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.
You know those girls at sporting events who wear stilettos and look horribly out of place as they painfully teeter down the stadium stairs? These Herstar MLB Shoes ($100) are just encouraging that ridiculous behavior. Ladies, trust us, the guy who asked you to the baseball game does not expect you to show up dressed for a night in the club. Put on some Chuck Taylors and have a beer.

Right on Outblush! These are hilarious ... but I totally dont doubt some chick would buy them and sport them to an event thinking she was winning some major points ... but in reality she's just looking like a fool who spent wayyy to much on some ugly shoes! LOL
Alexa
I dunno, I think they're kind of cute. Obviously not good if you're going to the sport in person, but for watching in a sports bar, why not? Definitely a conversation starter...

These are horribly horrible. Insulting, actually. Perhaps only useful to play out someone's cheerleader fantasy? But, thankfully, baseball doesn't have cheerleaders. Dear MLB, consider this but on a cute pair of retro nikes or something. K, thx.

I don't understand how these are insulting. I'm not saying I think they're the most practical things for a ballgame, and I agree with stamping a doubtblush on them, but I think calling them insulting is what's really insulting. Who says you can't be a baseball fan AND super girly. For the superfan who also loves pumps, this might be perfect. What on earth is insulting about that?
Marie
@Amy C - I get where you're coming from, but the last time I went to a baseball game, I nearly pitched face first down like 5 stairs because the rows were banked so steeply. I was wearing sneakers. I shudder to think what might've happened if I was wearing stilettos - I'd probably be in a neck collar to this day! The idea that we wanna be girly sports fans is great, but maybe on some flats or something instead?
Amy C
@Marie,
yeah, I agree, that's why I said they're not practical for a ballgame, but if you can handle it, or want to wear them somewhere outside the ballpark, have at it. My issue was with the commenter who said they were insulting.
Mando
Not going to lie -- If they had these in wedges and NFL teams, I'd be too busy buying a pair to leave a comment.

Not cute. I wish Fan Feet would do pro teams, they only do colleges now. Much more classy I think.

Feminazis get off your high horses, you and I both know that 99.9% of men would FANTASIZE about you wearing these... you are lying to yourself if you state otherwise.... There is nothing wrong with women being women at a game, the same thing can be said for chuck taylors... "why do women take sporting events as an opportunity to dress like slobs".... if that offends you... then you are a hypocrite. HERSTAR isn't for everyone, but don't hate on others because you aren't confident enough to rock out in a pair.
Mando You will love to know that HERSTAR is releasing wedges this summer :)
