Doubtblush: Handerpants
We found this. We couldn't believe it was real - that people would pay cash-money for it when they could instead spend it on food or something awesome like this (link to a recent really great OB post). But it IS real, and people DO buy it. There are just some things we'll never understand...
Handerpants ($16). Fingerless gloves based on men's tighty-whitey underwear. This style of manty (man-panty) is most closely associated with Al Bundy and men over 30 who dwell in basements and think World of Warcraft is real. And apparently the maker of Handerpants thought it would be a swell idea to fashion a pair of gloves out of these charming undies. No thanks. It would be like wearing a thong as a headband. Some things just do not need to be repurposed.
