Doubtblush: Diane von Furstenberg Printed Leggings
You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.
Umm, we aren't sure what to make of these Diane von Furstenberg Printed Leggings ($115). Especially since we usually think of DVF as a very classy, understated and professional designer...these pants are anything but! Sure, we could sit here and sell these leggings like they're wacky and fun but give us a break, Halloween already passed and we can't think of a single way to wear these in a sophisticated manner. Stick to what you do so well, Diane!

I thought this would never happen! I thought I would never actually like something on your doubtblush postings, but this time, I ACTUALLY HAVE IT ALREADY! Although I have these DVF leggings in the non-grayscale color (they are brown and tan, like a 'real' leopard), they are wearable for those who are daring. I wear them with a black t-neck dress and tall black boots. As long as the other parts of the outfit remain neutral and simple, they really aren't that bad. I think they are funky and cute. I have received many compliments. Also, they have jodphur-like seams so they are less like the usual legging. Sooo.. HAH!
