They say great taste is timeless - but then again, so is bad taste. Despite the time we spend looking for stuff to make you salivate with desire, occasionally we stumble upon things that elicit a very different oral reaction. Sometimes we shudder and move on, and then there are times that the object in question is just too awful to keep to ourselves, so we bring it to you as a Doubtblush.
Are you kidding us? We mean, we're all for eye-catching decor, but not literal eye-catching decor. We'd turn a corner in our house and poke out our eyeballs on these Coral Brass Wall Ornaments ($48). We could affix them in an out-of-the-way spot, we suppose, but we'd rather not take our chances. Besides, we may joke about living in a dungeon, but wall spikes would be taking it a bit too far.

Yes, but it makes for awesome Halloween decor! I can imagine creating a silhouette of a witch in one corner, with ten of these making up the nails to two sinister hands coming out of the wall... then again, at $48.00 a pop, it's really a bit much.

I actually like it. I have an odd narrowed angled corner of my ceiling that it would be interesting in. But yes, certainly not practical at eye level. The website doesn't say how many you get at $48.00 just that they are different lengths.
