Doubtblush: Alae Ear Cuff
You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.
We get Armor's schtick, body jewelry/armor, and all, but we just can't seem to let the Alae Ear Cuff ($77) go without notice. The piece is essentially a chain that attaches from the ear lobe to a cuff that latches onto the top of your ear. It's as though we forgot how to put on a necklace and ended up with it sloppily dangling on our ear. We wouldn't be surprised if people started telling us that there's something strange hanging off the side of our head. Come to think of it, it's starting to remind us of that scene in There's Something About Mary....
