You may have noticed that we're hardly perpetual rays of sunshine around here, but even so, we seem to spend a lot of our time enthusing about one gewgaw or another. Doubtblush exists to make it clear that we do not, in fact, like everything.
This Spiderweb Back Sweater from AKIRA Black Label ($50) may look like a seasonally appropriate top, considering the spooky implications of fall. But we're not so taken with it. What if a spider was crawling on by, looking for a cozy place to spin a web so she could lay a gigantic sac of eggs, and happened across our already-completed sweater version? She'd take up residence without so much as an invitation. Then we would have to set ourselves on fire. And we're not ready to die. Not at least until this season of Dexter finishes up.
