The 2009 Black Friday/Cyber Monday Roundup

You're probably wondering, given the current economic climate, how you're going to be able to afford any holiday presents for the friends & fam this year, right? We were, too, until we found out that this year's sales might be some of the best ever! Read on for a few of our favorite steals n' deals for Black Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday, November 30, 2009.

Pssst! Looking for something a little more unique than just the big box stuff below (which is all well and good for what it is)? We'll have more Black Friday deals for our favorite small businesses all next week, so keep your eyes peeled for more of the good stuff!

Walmart - Whether or not you think Walmart is the Evil Empire, you'll be tempted by this year's deals, which include a price-beating guarantee for any product and 100 toys for $10 each. Other deals include an HP Pavilion laptop for $448 (regularly $528) and $100 off a Samsung 40 inch 1080p LCD TV.

Target - Selections include select Chefmate kitchen appliances (including a 12-cup coffeemaker and a slow cooker) for only $3 each, a Tom Tom GPS for $97, Nikon CoolPix S203 10MP Digital Camera for $88, tons of $10 toys and games, DVDs from $3.99 (including Elf)and 50% off select sweaters, vests, and scarves. If you're brave enough for the Black Friday crowds, you'll also get a $10 gift card for every $100 spent on Black Friday between 5am-12pm.

Best Buy - The Best Buy VIP contest lets you enter to win a $1,000 gift card & VIP early admittance (with limo ride!) to the Best Buy store of your choice on Black Friday - entry deadline is November 20, 2009. Other deals include laptops from $350, a free LG Chocolate Touch from Verizon with a 2 year activation, home entertainment systems from $2000, and lowered prices on DVDs and video games.

Toys R Us - Depending on how much you purchase at Toys R Us, you could get $5 or $10 Toys R Us gift cards back with your purchase, plus an iCarly Mini Digital Camera for $12.49 and a $50 gift card with any Applie iPod 8GB Touch. Expect Toys R Us to do battle with Walmart on toy prices, too.

Kmart - From 6am-11am on 11/27/09, expect $20 off popular Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3 games, buy 2 get 1 free on all Lego Sets, and a 32 inch Sony Bravia 720p LCD HDTV for just $379.99. Other deals include 50% off all kid's character athletic shoes and wireless Bluetooth headsets from $7.99, plus a Magnavox DVD player w/VCR for $49.99.

Lowes - Crammed full of gifts for your fave DIY-er, the deals at Lowes will include a Dewalt 18 volt cordless compact drill/driver kit for $99.99, solid oak hardwood flooring from $3.28 per square foot and a Char Broil Quickset Gas Grill for $79.

Old Navy - Stores are reputedly opening as early as 3am for deals like $15 for all adults jeans, all kid's & toddlers jeans $10 each, 50% off all outerwear, and a forthcoming coupon for $10 off purchases over $50.

Walgreens - Aspirin may not be a very nice stocking stuffer, but the buy one, get one free on all Neutrogena Cosmetics will fill out stockings nicely, as will a Norelco 7310 Cordless Razor for $27.99, Sonicare Essence Toothbrush e5300 for $44.99, and buy one get one free on the Crayola Color Explosion 3D and Crayola Color Wonder.

Babies R Us - Take advantage of buy 2, get 1 free deals on all Carter's and Gerber clothing, all shoes, and all sleepwear. Other deals include a Shermag Glider & Ottoman combo for $149.99 and a Graco TurboBooster Car Seat For $39.99.
