For those of us that weren't camped out or glued to our televisions all night, let's appreciate some British royalty long dead. We'd rather hail scandal for scandal's sake than some talking head. Bow down to the utterly ridiculous Tudor Love Underwear ($42), available for men and women. And, give 'em a break, they needed the scale of granny panties to properly frame these icons of British history, ok?
We bet a lot of you are thinking, "dang, that portrait looks familiar." Well, as part of our ongoing Jeopardy arts category prep, we'll feed you some brain food. First of all, Henry VIII is not Jonathan Rhys Meyers (so sad). Looks to us that the portrait of Anne Boleyn is by an unknown artist and is now housed in the National Portrait Gallery, London. Henry's image is based on the famous 1540 portrait by Hans Holbein the Younger and can be found in the Gallerie Nazionale d'Arte, Rome (aka The Borghese). Consider yourselves fed.
