We were struck by the quality of the wildlife silkscreen on the Tracey Emin Teapot ($300) before we realized what it was. Oh, it's a Tracey friggin' Emin piece that originally showed at the Goss-Michael Foundation, an organization dedicated to British Contemporary art and based in Dallas, TX, of all places. All proceeds benefit the Goss-Michael Foundation Scholarship fund, and that makes this cute teapot even cooler.
Let's learn more about the artist, Tracey Emin. Emin is best-known for her appliqué tent, Everyone I Have Ever Slept With (c. 1995) and installation My Bed (c. 1999) which consists of her dirty sheets, soiled underwear, and empty booze bottles (conceptual art is classy). Personally, we like her sweeter and easier to swallow neon work. For more info, check our her representation page on the Saatchi Gallery website or browse the Emin International Shop.
