In his artist statement at MOCA's wildly popular exhibit, Art in the Streets, Fairey aligned his GIANT street art campaign with the phenomenology of propaganda. Nowadays he remains political to the core; recently he made an invitation for Occupy Wall Street and created the movie poster poster for the Aung San Suu Kyi film, The Lady.
