Mr. Doe called. He's still crazy. Couldn't understand a word he said. You could call him back (555-555-5555), but I wouldn't.
<3 Cashmere.
Shachihata specializes in a special East Asian formality: hanko signatures, or business seals. In this fun pen, industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa combines the idea of a traditional hanko stamp with a luxury pen. The hanko system started in China in the first century and was adopted by Japan and other countries. Initially, hanko were used only by emperors and noblemen as a symbol of authority, but in the Middle Ages, the system was adopted by samurai. Modernization brought hanko to the people in the 19th century, and now it's a common business practice.
