Auryn Pendant
Please tell us we're not the only ones who were obsessed with the Neverending Story movies back in the 80s... Well, hopefully we're not alone in our appreciation of this Auryn Pendant ($110-265/sterling silver, $285-650 gold and argentium). The sterling silver version is hand carved and the gold mix model uses a hand crafted "married metal" technique which is even harder to do. No wonder it's so pretty!
In case you're wondering, the Auryn design isn't all movie magic. It is a variation of the legendary snake called the ouroborous. This image of a snake eating its own tail represents eternal return or the cyclical nature of the universe; it's also a Gnostic (esoteric Christian) symbol for "earthly ensnarement," but we don't wanna get in it that deep.
