Celeb Style: 2010 Grammy Awards
The picture above says it all, doesn't it? We got a kick out of the outfits on the
red carpet and performance stage this year. Not all were hits on our list, but generally the Grammy Awards are a mixed bag of fashion risks and high notes. We saw a lot of safe looks in nudes, whites, and blacks from the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Keri Hilson, and Beyonce. While we enjoyed most of these dresses, we wish there was more color on the carpet like at this year's SAG Awards!
One particular shout-out that seems like a crime to ignore was Lady Gaga and her on and off-stage looks. Armani certainly went overboard when he created her intricate ensembles - but it wasn't the most bizarre we've seen her. Carrie Underwood and Mary J. Blige both looked polished in their respective gowns, as did Pink in head-to-toe silver. Taylor Swift looked sophisticated in her blue sequins, although something more youthful may have been better suited on her (short perhaps?). Some major disappointments of the night were Fergie's cobalt blue disaster, Rihanna's up-to-there slit gown, and Kesha's ridiculous gold flapper dress. You're at the Grammys girl, dress up!
