We started using mineral makeup years ago when our dermatologist suggested that our acne-prone skin might need a break from heavy foundation. Boy, was he right! Almost as soon as we took the makeup off and put the minerals on, our skin sighed a breath of relief. But with mineral makeup comes the question of which brush to use. The Mineral Hygenics Light Coverage Flawless Face Brush ($22) A'd that Q with a quickness. It performed fantastically with buffing powders, really working the minerals into the skin to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. We appreciated the overall craftsmanship of the brush, but it was the soft feel of the bristles that we really noticed. We'd never really explored the realm of natural hair brushes before, thinking that they would tend to be stiff and coarse. Not true. The sable hair felt like silk as it glided across our skin, and it delivered a continuous flow of powder with every stroke. We're not saying we're zealots, but we're certainly believers.
