Summertime is perfect for messy buns and updos, but so not the perfect time for kajillions of pokey, falling-out hair pins. We discovered Goody Simple Styles Spin Pins ($6 for a set of 2) at our local drugstore and are in capital-L Love. Just coil your hair into a bun or twist and "spin" the pins through it for a hold that lasts all day. And at just $6 a pair, they're easy on the wallet, too.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago and I love them! I have medium length, thick, curly hair and they hold really well in a low bun using both of them. The pins alone are very strong, not flimsy like regular bobby pins
