Seriously I'm still trying to figure out why it's so expensive, is the wood super special or something? or does $100 get donated to charity?

Oh but it's so pretty. I admit there is a steep price tag but I still think it would be cheaper than making it yourself.

I guarantee, as someone who builds things, that if you have access to a complete wood shop, you can make this for less than $20. You could get all exotic and spend $100 on some rare hardwood. Or you could go to an art store and buy a pen and marker holder. I should get my boyfriend, who runs the art shop facilities at my university, to make me one.
