The Perfect Image Pineapple-Pumpkin Enzyme Peel ($35) is sending out some mixed messages. On one hand, the peel is advertised as a treatment for the following problems:
::deep breath:: scars, fine lines, wrinkles, acne, oily skin, uneven skin tone, dry skin, blackheads, enlarged pores, whiteheads, hyperpigmentation, rosacea, melasma, warts, enlarged pores, age spots, sun spots, eczema, seborrheic keratosis, hyperkeratosis, actinic keratosis, and keratosis pilaris...
And on the other hand, it, and we kid you not, warns against use if you have unrealistic expectations. But when you claim to address a myriad of problems with the powers of beta-carotene, vitamins A and C, zinc, potassium, and proteolytic enzymes, you are handing us some incredibly high expectations. Luckily for this peel, it does what we want it to do, and we definitely won't be returning it.
