Childhood was not good to our skin. We bumped into every corner, nailed every fence post and whacked every freaking rock with our knees leaving us scarred for life. In high school, it was no big deal because we were just adding to the collection thanks to soccer, cheerleading, lacrosse and track. College was no better for our knees but for totally un-athletic reasons. Now that we've reached legitimate adulthood, we use Egyptian Magic Cream ($38) to get rid of the scars, stretch marks and new bruises we acquire every time we fall down the bleachers at our kids' baseball games. We have to at least appear pulled together when we wear maternal skirts to PTA meetings.
